“This past month, I had a great experience interning for The Secret Society of Poetry. By posting throughout the month, I learned how to be more consistent with a brand and how to edit in certain ways in Canva. I enjoyed editing all of the videos that the founder Sophia provided for me. During my time I was able to explore different types of posts (other than the usual poems that had been seen before) such as collages inspired by poems that have been published by the Secret Society of Poetry and putting some of these poems in reel form on Instagram. I also added hashtags such as #literarymagzine, #litmag, etc. because I know on my own Instagram, I follow many smaller lit mags that all have their own little community and I wanted the Secret Society of Poetry to become apart of that community."
