Earth is rotating slower—If the clock
Stays the same, we’d be rushing into tomorrow
The Earth, not a perfect timekeeper, father
Of our untimely fate, shadows of sundials’s
Gnomon, movement of the mountainous faith
In this war we fight, some think they will never
Die—Some think they have already many
Times—The truth lies in the context, yet we’re
Straining towards the Stars, chanting syllabuses
In pairs, like heartbeats, matching with each other
Like Castor and Pollux, a Poet turned
The Twin, from Trinity to Know-It-All
Banning one another’s numeral systems, at
Tower of Babel, we sing English lullabies
