Published Review for Award Winning two-time Author James W.A.
"It is a true talent to be as expressionistic as author James W.A. has displayed in his recent work "Desolation and Epiphany". For his mystical tongue and his artistic visions transcend upon the reader in an otherwise indescribable fashion. His work is truly revolutionary, as his poem “They’ll Drain You Slowly, Man” explores the questionable definition that be love….that be God…that be human. James W.A’s latest book is a fabulously intentional and passionate curation of his greatest poems. From questioning life, to death, to the simple means of laughter, you will be left both speechless and inspired.
While I read his work in all but two breezy hours, as I simply could not stop my eyes from reading forward, as if they were starved of literature, hungry for every new verse, I suggest pausing between each poem. Allowing yourself to digest, to grow, and to reflect. Allow these poems to dig within you, as they will plant themselves within your heart either which way, painfully and lovingly rooting through your veins, tugging at your heartstrings.
Do not allow yourself to teeter, for this book is an unthinkable yes and a beautiful addition to any bookshelf. Not because of its gorgeously illustrated cover, but because of the truths, the words, and the creativity hidden within.
